Artifactuality Celebrates Grand Opening in Montclair

Montclair, New Jersey, August 7, 2008—Artifactuality, a cutting-edge graphic design and creative services company, celebrated the opening of its studio in Montclair, New Jersey, with an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 17. The company is located at 41 Glenridge Avenue, Montclair, right across the street from the Bay Street Station, and only a short train ride away from New York's Penn Station.

“Making the move to our new studio space in Montclair is very exciting for us,” explains Christine Moh, Artifactuality owner and creative partner. “In this digital age,” she continues, “we could really be located anywhere and still be accessible to our clients. We’re thrilled to be in Montclair! We enjoyed every minute of this special gathering with our clients, business colleagues, and friends at our new headquarters.” Creative partner, Bob Mickens, added “Beginning with the design of our own very special ‘Head Quarters’ invitations (see photo), Artifactuality is all about bold, high-impact, beautiful things. Our invitation photograph is representative of the way Artifactuality approaches a unique solution for its clients. It could be funny, serious, subtle, or crazy, but no doubt the imagery will be memorable.”

Shown above at the ribbon-cutting ceremony conducted by the North Essex Chamber of Commerce (NECC) are (from left to right): Daniel Mickens, Montclair High School student; Donna Thompson, NJAWBO Essex board member and owner of drtEnterprises, Cedar Grove; Sylvana Meneses and Gina Di Gennaro, owners of Gigi's Bay Street Cafe (next door to Artifactuality); Rebecca Bergstrom, founder of Yoga Desha, Montclair; William Diefes, formerly with IBM; Christine Moh and Bob Mickens, creative partners at Artifactuality; Meryl Layton, executive director of the North Essex Chamber of Commerce, West Caldwell; Nick Lewis, Third Ward Councilor, Montclair; and Gene Sower, NECC Marketing Committee member and owner of Samson Media of Montclair.

“We are happy to welcome Artifactuality to Montclair and to the Chamber,” notes Meryl Layton, NECC executive director, “and, on behalf of the North Essex Chamber of Commerce, we wish them much success as they set up shop here in Essex County.”

Christine Moh and Bob Mickens are residents of Bloomfield.
