Hi,
Have you ever walked in to your house or
apartment and felt a great unexplainable urge to update your
living
room curtains, or rearrange the furniture around the entertainment
center, or wondered why it has taken you so long to replace that
shriveled
brown bamboo stalk on the mantle? Well, I can now report that
this human phenomenon has now evolved into the way we feel about our
virtual
homes!
It happened while sipping the last drops
of our Belgian Hot chocolate last February. Christine and
I were
feeling pretty physically satisfied after a scrumptious 4th
anniversary of Artifactuality meal. Our restless motor
minds however,
were on the future, and our twitchy eyes were scanning the
restaurant's environs. The decor was hip, but comfortable,
homey, but not
grandma foofy. The customers were well dressed in their quality
casuals. There were families, all kinds. There were couples,
all
combinations. No ties--but plenty of iPhone/Blackberry actions
happening as some picked up pacifiers, or caressed a
significant others
hand next to the bruschetta.
Our sight lines locked. Our eyes met. We were having that in-synch-mind-meld moment that we often experience. Christine
was the first to blurt out, "I'm really sick of looking at our website... Let's completely revamp it!"
And so we did! With a little help from our friends (see our Friends page) and with the guidance
of the patron saint of all things HTML, Bill Kelly, (williamkellydesign.com) we now have a fresh new look. One that takes its design cues from the fuzzy broken
lines that separate our personal, professional, and creative lives.

A DOUBLE DIP OF MTV FUN IN THE SUN SHENANIGANS: "THE REAL WORLD CANCUN" AND "THE S#!T THEY
SHOULD HAVE SHOWN"
Artifactuality delivered two tropical creature themed graphics packages for MTV's Real World property as
our own real world summer faded into fall.
The signature
eyeball/keyhole that brands this popular after series wrap-up,
broadcast at the beginning of
September, adorned with Busby Berkeley inspired geckos,
toucans, and schools of tropical piranha fish, the opening and break
intersticials
stokes the energy and keeps the viewer coming back for more... Of what
they've NEVER seen. The Real World Cancun: The S#!T They Should
Have Shown
Sun
blast colors! Extreme extrusions! Bubblelicious sea
creatures! Artifactuality created the graphics and
animation that framed up all of the players of the Real World Cancun
series as they are put together one final time to tell each other what
they
REALLY think of each other. Within the tropical/loco theme, watch the
flirting, fighting, and fish fins fly! The Real World Cancun
Reunion
